Following the earthquakes centred in Kahramanmaraş, which affected ten provinces and 13.5 million people, our municipalities, with the contribution of our citizens, launched a mobilization to support disaster areas.

In this context;

- 5,921 vehicles and 15,109 personnel were sent to the region by 154 municipalities. The vehicles include fully equipped search and rescue vehicles, construction equipment, transfer buses, fire brigade, health and funeral vehicles and vehicles carrying humanitarian aid materials.

- A total of 3,364 trucks/trucks, four aeroplanes, six ships, two ferries and two train wagons carrying humanitarian aid materials, mainly food, clothing and hygiene products, were sent to the disaster areas.

Humanitarian aid supplies include;

- Daily; 54 mobile kitchens with a capacity of 260 thousand meals, 19 catering vehicles with a capacity of 180 thousand, 11 mobile bakeries with a capacity of 110 thousand bread,

- 280 TIR of drinking water,

- 1 million 745 thousand blankets,

- 107,260 heaters/stoves,

- 7,202 tents, 172 containers

- 577 mobile toilets/showers,

- 541 generators are also available.

* Our municipalities continue to work with a particular emphasis on tent and heating support.
