ALLIANCE OF THE NATION JOINT PRESS RELEASE (March 4, 2023 - Ankara)

As the Nation Alliance, we came together today, hosted by the Felicity Party. Our table, which represented the broadest range of all segments of society in our country and was established by our nation itself, is determined to continue its work in the same direction today as it was found on the first day in line with the principles and goals.

No development can cover the suffering our nation is experiencing due to the earthquake disaster and the weakness of governance that caused this suffering. We once again wish God's mercy to our citizens who lost their lives, and we pledge to put an end to all these weaknesses in governance and to take the necessary measures to ensure that all our citizens live in safe cities and safe houses. The mayors of the Millet Alliance are already working to fulfil these commitments.

We have been carrying out a process with common sense, consultation and consensus since the first day we set out. With the awareness that we are at the dawn of a new era, we will re-grow hope in these lands, and together we will establish living conditions worthy of human dignity in our beautiful country.

We are determined to build and revitalise the "Turkey of tomorrow" without being stuck in yesterday and today! We will continue on our way without excluding any member of our 85 million people, without breaking anyone's heart and without negating their confidence.

Our goal is a victory without losing!

In this context, as we decided in our previous meeting, we will come together again on Monday, March 6, hosted by the Felicity Party. We will share the final announcement on our joint Presidential candidate for the 28th Parliamentary Term and the 13th Presidential elections and the roadmap for the transition process, for which we have reached a common understanding.
