CHP Chair Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu: "We will continue to enlarge our table, with patience..."

"My dear people, when we set out on this journey, we always talked about the "Halil İbrahim Table" (Note: the table where all ideologies are accepted). Because I said that we should invite this country's various colours to this table; otherwise, this country would not be reformed. We started to win by uniting all the colours of Turkey. Our table thus gradually expanded. Because the aim was not just to remove or change the tyrannical palace but also to build a new, beautiful Turkey, we can't bring this country together by saying one shouldn't sit at this table; the other shouldn't sit at this table. We cannot change Turkey by ignoring and despising some people. We have been living in this Turkey for 20 years. "Erdoğan should go, but Erdoğanism should come..." This will not work either; we have historical responsibilities. The alliance's other partners don't appear in the media and insult each other, they never make statements that harm the alliance, and I've never observed any of them trying to get votes from within the alliance. It's always the same acts and repetitive moves...

We are not seeking to govern the country with political operations; we all have a responsibility and will act accordingly.

As for me, I will not change after this time. I unify. I will continue to unify. The table has to expand. And no one can stop this. Political games, impoliteness and Erdoğan type discourses should not be at this table. This is how people sat at this table, which is why those who leave will leave. I hope we calm down with the awareness of why we have come together and invited anyone and everyone to this table. We aim to ensure that all our colours sit at this table instead of some people leaving.

For this reason, my colleagues in my party nor I will allow any tension; we will not be a part of it, and we will continue to act very responsibly. We will not leave anyone behind; all citizens of Turkey will be invited to this table. Our people should not worry; we will defeat Erdoğan and Erdoğan's propaganda machinery in every way. We will defeat them. You can be sure we will."
