CHP Chairperson and Nation Alliance Presidential Candidate Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu in Istanbul

CHP Chairperson and Presidential Candidate Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu said, "I have a promise to this nation. I will take that 418 billion dollars taken unjustly and stolen from the treasury and return it to the nation's account. I know they oppose me. I know they are making efforts to prevent Kılıçdaroğlu from coming. I know they are waging great efforts. But my only assurance is you, the people of this country. Together, we will fight for justice, rights, and law."

CHP Chairperson and Nation Alliance Presidential Candidate Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu attended the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Bağcılar Ebubekir Square and Women's Center Opening Ceremony.

CHP leader and Presidential Candidate Kılıçdaroğlu said the following in his speech at the ceremony:

"Thank you. Mayor Ekrem made a charming speech and excited us all. The power for what? Power for equality between men and women. Power for peace and prosperity in each home. Power for justice, power for law, power for people, and power for disadvantaged groups. Power to eliminate the distinction between headscarves and without headscarves. Power for embracing. Power for not to fight. Power for peace and prosperity in each house. Yes, power for the people, power for the nation.

The mayor said, 'Kılıçdaroğlu loves Bağcılar very much. I love Istanbul, and I love Bağcılar; I love the people who live in Bağcılar. I know that our votes are low here. But no one should worry, whether you vote for us or not; just as Ekrem Mayor does not make any discrimination, we will not make any discrimination when we govern Turkey. We will embrace everyone. Everyone should know that there is no discrimination in our policy.

We will account to the nation for every penny we spend. We will protect the right of people. We will reunite teachers waiting for appointments with their students like Ferhat and Shirin met. We have agricultural engineers, and we will give them assignments. No one will be left without food and shelter. All our struggle is for this.

Ekrem Mayor is the Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality; yes, he serves Istanbul. But together with Ekrem Mayor, all our mayors immediately went to the earthquake zone during the earthquake. They serve everyone. They do not discriminate against anyone. Istanbul is the pupil of all our eyes and an eternal city. Ekrem İmamoğlu, the Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, will also serve as the Vice President at the same time, God willing. There are two essential capitals in our history; Istanbul, the capital of the Ottoman Empire and Ankara, the capital of the Republic. This means that the power that governs the two capitals, the actor who governs the two capitals, will also serve as Vice President in the most crucial year of our Republic, the centennial year. They will serve both capitals and ancient cities.

Dear Istanbulites, dear brothers and sisters, I know you are in a difficult situation. I know the difficulties of earning a living; I know unemployment. But I also know those who take the money in return very well. " have a promise to this nation. Ekrem Mayor did what could not be done in Istanbul for many years. I sincerely thank him in the presence of all of you. He served by embracing everyone without any discrimination. You will see that he will do the same for both Istanbul and Turkey. I heartily congratulate him in the presence of all of you.
