CHP Chairperson and Presidential Candidate Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's Candidacy Application Submitted

CHP Group Deputy Chairpersons Engin Altay, Özgür Özel and Engin Özkoç, DEVA Party Secretary General Medeni Yılmaz, Democrat Party Deputy Chairperson Cemal Enginyurt, Future Party Deputy Chairpersons Selçuk Özdağ and Ayhan Sefer Üstün, IYI Party Group Deputy Chairperson Müsavat Dervişoğlu and Felicity Party Deputy Chairperson Bülent Kaya applied to the Supreme Election Council (YSK) for CHP Chairperson Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's candidacy for the Presidential and 28th Term Parliamentary Elections to be held on May 14.

The delegation of representatives of the Nation Alliance made a statement to the press after handing over the documents regarding the candidacy application of CHP Chairperson and Presidential Candidate Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu to YSK President Ahmet Yener in his office.

CHP Group Deputy Chairperson Engin Özkoç said the following in his statement to press members:

"Presidential elections will be held on May 14. Today, we came to the Supreme Election Council (YSK) together with the members of the Nation Alliance. We have submitted the nomination application of the 13th President of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu. May it be auspicious for our nation and our country. Thank you all."

IYI Party Group Deputy Chairperson Müsavat Dervişoğlu made the following statement:

"Dear members of the press, together with the representatives of the political parties and the components of the National Alliance, we have submitted Mr. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu as the 13th Presidential Candidate to the Presidency of the YSK as the IYI Party Parliamentary Group and our application has been accepted. Therefore, Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu is our 13th Presidential Candidate as of today, and God willing, he will be the 13th President of the country on the morning of May 15. I extend my respect to all of you; thank you."
