CHP Chairperson and Presidential Candıdate Nation Alliance Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu Urges For Commonsense: "This filthy discourse must stop; we are going to an election, not to a war"

CHP Chairperson and Nation Alliance Presidential Candidate Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, in a post on his social media account, addressed politicians and said, "This filthy discourse must stop."

Stating that he will continue to call for commonsense, CHP Chairperson and Presidential Candidate Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu said, "Our people see what they want to achieve with unimaginable dirty games and accusations. We are going to an election, not a war. Many governments have changed; we have always continued on the road. Let our people go to the polls peacefully, smiling, and return home with peace of mind. We are sick and tired of your reckless polarisation of neighbourhoods and households. We want to spend this remaining period in an election atmosphere. Stop disturbing the peace of our homeland."

The message shared by CHP Leader and Presidential Candidate Kılıçdaroğlu on his social media account is as follows:

"This filthy discourse must stop. Our people see what they want to achieve with unthinkable dirty games and accusations. We are going to an election, not a war. Many governments have changed; we have always continued on the road. I know the dirtiest things that will be attempted in the last ten days. And I say to them: A little common sense!

Let our people go to the polls peacefully, smilingly, and return home with peace of mind. We are sick and tired of your reckless polarisation of neighbourhoods and households. We want to spend this remaining period in the atmosphere of an election. Stop disturbing the peace of our homeland.

You called the election a coup.

You compared it to the "Battle of Uhud" against your own people.

You made our people look like invaders.

So where will you stop?

I will continue to fulfil my responsibility and call for common sense because the devil rescues those who have lost their common sense. Restrain what is inside you. Otherwise, this hatred will absorb you first and then all of us."
