CHP Chairperson Özgür Özel asked the Speaker of Parliament Numan Kurtulmuş to Extraordinary Summoning of the Consultative Assembly

Republican People's Party Chairperson Özgür Özel announced that he had a phone call with the Speaker of the Parliament Numan Kurtulmuş and requested him to convene an extraordinary meeting of the Parliamentary Advisory Board regarding the judicial crisis and the coup attempt.

CHP Chairperson Özgür Özel stated that he will personally attend the Advisory Board meeting to be chaired by the Speaker of the Parliament Numan Kurtulmuş and made the following statement on his social media account:

‘I had a phone call with the Speaker of the Parliament Numan Kurtulmuş and requested him to convene an extraordinary meeting of the Parliamentary Advisory Board regarding the current judicial crisis and coup attempt.

He stated that he will make such a call during the day after his planned programmes with the Palestinian Delegation he is hosting.

I will personally attend the Advisory Board meeting to be chaired by him on behalf of our party.’
