CHP Leader and Presidential Candidate Kılıçdaroğlu attended the Fastbreaking of the Felicity Party Istanbul Provincial Presidency

CHP Chairman and National Alliance Presidential Candidate Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu:

- "There were those who wanted to take a photo; the hall was crowded, and I didn't see the prayer rug on the floor. Now they are making an operation over that frame. Let me tell you frankly; I don't care about their operation. I am sincerely sorry; let me express this. I want you to know that I, my family, my wife and our children would never disrespect any sacred thing. This is against my way of life, view, and existence. I seek refuge from you, the sincere Muslims, from such slanders and operations."

- "We are six leaders together to bring justice to this land, ensure justice, and bring justice to this country no matter the cost. We all made a promise, and we will stand by it."

Republican People's Party Chairman and Nation Alliance Presidential Candidate Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu attended the fast-breaking meeting organized by the Felicity Party Istanbul Provincial Presidency in Yenikapı.

CHP Chairperson and Presidential Candidate Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu said the following in his speech here:

May God accept our prayers, and may our beautiful country be prepared for a peaceful future.

Dear brothers and sisters, I will continue my remarks by expressing a thought at the beginning. I will say just two words about the photo frame they have been attacking since yesterday evening. It happened in the restaurant where we were attending a fast-breaking organization. Some people wanted to take a photo; I don't resent anyone, I don't have such a habit, I wasn't raised that way, I embrace everyone, and I respect everyone. Some wanted to take a photo, but the hall was crowded, and I didn't see the prayer rug on the floor. So now they are making an operation over that frame.

Let me tell you frankly; I don't care about their operation. I am sincerely sorry; let me express this. I, my family, my wife and our children would never disrespect any sacred thing; I want you to know that. This is against my way of life, view, and existence. Therefore, I seek refuge from such slanders and operations from you, sincere Muslims, and I start my speech again.

There have been excellent speeches. Dear friends, Islam is not about how you are governed but how you are governed. There may be different methods, but how you are governed is essential. In our faith and understanding of democracy, the basis of governance is justice. There is no peace where there is no justice. As Mr. Karamollaoğlu said, there is no embrace where there is no justice. Where there is no justice, there is no abundance. If justice is the religion of the state, each of us has to fight for justice and bring justice to these lands. All the problems we face today stem from injustice. Justice is not only manifested in courtrooms. If there is injustice, it means there is a great injustice, and we have to fight against it. We need to protect the rights of innocent people. Our conscience should at least manifest itself in protecting the rights of the innocent; our conscience should speak to us in that direction. The concept of justice is not ordinary; the great Mevlana says, 'justice is like a pole star, the whole universe revolves around it'. Therefore, we six leaders are together to bring justice to this land, and we will bring justice to this country no matter the cost. We have all promised, and we will stand by our promise.

Justice also means not laying a hand on wealth. Those who lay their hands on the jewel house cannot bring justice and cannot ensure justice. Likewise, those who only account for some penny of tax collected cannot get justice. There is something said 2,400 years ago, a great sage said, 'if those who govern the state have become rich, they do not protect the rights and laws of the citizens; they protect their wealth'. Therefore, we will protect the rights and laws of citizens without any discrimination, no matter who they are.

Dear friends, Mr. Karamollaoğlu, said, 'we will embrace everyone'. Yes, we will embrace everyone and make peace with everyone; we will pursue a policy favouring togetherness and embracing, not polarization. This is our primary goal. He also said something else important: 'political parties are not enemies'; yes, we have decided that we are not enemies, not adversaries, but we will compete for the good. When we compete together, we will bring peace to Turkey and prosperity to Turkey, and I would like it to be known.

Dear brothers and sisters, nothing is as valuable as using our minds. The Creator asks, 'are you not using your intellect? The reason should work for justice, unity, and solidarity, not for polarization and, on the contrary, abundance at the table. The Khalil Abraham Table should not only be here; it should be everywhere in Anatolia; it should also be abroad and for our brothers and sisters there. If one of our brothers goes to bed hungry in this land, we should think about this: 85 million of us are hungry.

We will build a Turkey where everyone is fed, and there is peace in every home. There was a sentence that the late Erbakan used to say very often if you want me to end with it; 'The truth will come, and the falsehood will disappear' let everyone believe in this. We will bring rights, law and justice to this beautiful country together, no matter the cost.

I extend my sincerest love and respect to all of you, and God bless you.
