Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairperson and Nation's Alliance Presidential Candidate Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu responded to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's remarks against him: "Those who have no sensitivity to spiritual values have no eyes on the prayer rug." President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, in a television program he attended yesterday evening, said, "Can one step on a prayer rug with a shoe? This is a matter of decency... Those without sensitivity to spiritual values have no eyes on the prayer rug. My citizens should memorize these photos. I believe that after its publication, the value of the prayer rug will start to increase."
