CHP Leader and Presidential Candidate Kılıçdaroğlu in Afyonkarahisar: Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk has Çankaya Mansion; we will be there

Republican People's Party (CHP) leader and Nation Alliance Presidential Candidate Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, together with alliance members Democratic Party Chairman Gültekin Uysal and Felicity Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu, attended a rally in Afyonkarahisar today.

CHP leader and Presidential Candidate Kılıçdaroğlu said the following in his speech at the rally:

- "I do not violate the rights of the people. However, I have no idea of sitting in such palaces. Why should I sit in palaces? Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk has Çankaya Mansion; it is modest; we will go there, we will live there."

- "We will introduce Family Support Insurance. All households with no income or income below the minimum wage will have a woman's bank account, and regular monthly deposits will be made there. Social support and social security experts will determine how much social support should be given to which family. According to the family's situation, that family will receive a regular monthly allowance. They will not need anyone. The left hand will not see what the right hand gives. We will not expose the poverty of anyone. A social state is a state that feeds its citizens, a state that does not leave them in need."

- "I will take the 418 billion dollars that they steal in 21 years, to the last cent, to the last cent, and I will give it to this nation."

- "Turkey is a rich country. You find the money for your son; you give billions of dollars—euros for a road, dollars for a bridge. I thought you were nationalists. But unfortunately, there is no Turkish currency. So I will convert all the tenders and contracts they give in dollars and euros into Turkish liras."

- "We have two red lines. One flag, two homelands. Flag and homeland are never and never indispensable for us. Their nationalism is a story. Thirty-four of our soldiers were martyred in Syria. The shooters were obvious. Russia had fired, and our 34 soldiers were martyred. The President of this state went to Putin's door. Our soldier was martyred, our soldier was shot, our people are suffering, our people are grieving, you are going to Putin's door! What did Putin do? He kept the President of the Republic of Turkey waiting at the door; he started the stopwatch and showed the world how many minutes he kept the President of Turkey waiting at the door. Then he said you can come to my room, he took him and sat him down. Is this nationalism?"

- "They sold the Tank Pallet Factory to the Qatari army. They say, 'We are nationalists'; their nationalism is a story! So I will buy that Tank Pallet Factory from the Qatari army and re-deliver it to our honourable army."

- "Our army is the only army in the world without a hospital. This is because they took away all the hospitals. Therefore, we will open all military hospitals, especially GATA, Military Medical Academy, and deliver those hospitals to our honourable army."
