CHP Leader and Presidential Candidate Kılıçdaroğlu in Denizli: I have a promise to the police, we will recruit 100 thousand security guards

Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairperson, Nation Alliance and Presidential Candidate Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu organised a rally in Denizli today. Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu and Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş also attended the rally. CHP Chairperson and Presidential Candidate Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu said the following in his speech at the rally:

- "We will come not by pressure, not by violence, but by the will of the people. We will come within a democracy and grow our country within a democracy."

- "No low-income family will ever have their electricity, gas or water cut off. These are human rights. These three basic services must be provided to the family without any conditions. A social state is a state that stands by people experiencing poverty. A state that stands by the gangs of five cannot be called a social state. It can only be called a state of palace."

- "I am not in the habit of living in palaces. God willing, if you elect me, I will not go to the palace but to Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's Çankaya. We will live like the people and be an example to the society."

- "They try to question my nationalism. We, the CHP, have two basic red lines. One is our homeland; two is our flag. Period. We would die for our homeland and flag without blinking an eye. History imposed this responsibility on us because we are a party founded after the War of Independence. We are not a party founded with a petition in lawyers' offices. CHP is a party with historical roots. It is a party that we inherited from Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk."

- "My police brothers and sisters work 12 hours, 13 hours, 14 hours. Sometimes they cannot even go home for 24 hours. Our police brothers and sisters are human beings; they also have families and children, want to go home in peace, have a holiday, and work 8 hours a day and rest other hours. Therefore, I know this very well. Consequently, I have a promise to my police brothers and sisters we will recruit 100 thousand security guards, and the police will be more comfortable; they will work for 8 hours and then go home.

- "Let me tell you that two groups do not want me: one, gangs of five; two, drug barons. I will fight against both of them. First, I will eliminate the drug barons."

- "We will do basin-based planning, who will know in advance what to plant. One will also know how much the state will buy in advance. In basin-based planning, we will build a model where no one will make a loss. Our formula is as follows; for God's sake, write it down on paper. Cost... Whatever you produce, wheat, barley, oats, thyme, cost plus reasonable profit equals the base price. In other words, we are bringing a model in which no one, no producer, will make a loss."
