Why should we abandon Çankaya? Why should we turn our backs on our history? Why palaces? Wasting is a sin, a sin. We have promised six leaders the number one circular we will issue will be a circular on preventing wastefulness."

Those people who robbed this nation, who took the money in dollars and euros, who took the money they took to Switzerland, London, France, and America, who said 'Mr Kemal cannot find them' should know this very well; Mr Kemal knows in which bank every penny account smuggled from Turkey, how many liras it is, and I will bring it all, I will give it to this nation."
