CHP Leader and Presidential Candidate Kılıçdaroğlu in Ordu: "Democracy, not a coup, Democracy! Democracy will come out of the ballot box!"

CHP Chairperson and National Alliance Presidential Candidate Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu travelled to Ordu after his rally in the Boyabat district of Sinop today. Democratic Party President Gültekin Uysal, Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu and Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş accompanied CHP Chairperson and Presidential Candidate Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu.

CHP Leader and Presidential Candidate of the Nation Alliance Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu:

- "We will vote in favour of Democracy. We will vote in favour of great effort. We will vote for Turkey. We will vote in favour of the sweat of the brow, we will vote in favour of those who spend labour."

-" There are two main products of the Black Sea, tea and hazelnuts. Therefore, these are the primary source of livelihood. Hazelnut and tea producers must be paid for their labour and hard work. They are going to South America to improve agriculture; they are travelling in South America. I promised to spend every last penny for the sweat of their brow. I have said it before and will repeat it; no matter what period, no matter what, hazelnuts will be worth 4 dollars, equal to Turkish lira. Don't forget, write it down."

- "Do not worry at all, those gangs of five exist today; they will not exist tomorrow. I know the money they took abroad. Four hundred eighteen billion dollars, they took it away in 22 years; I will bring 418 billion dollars and give it to the people of this country."

-" According to official figures, 3 million 600 thousand Syrians have arrived. We do not know the number of Afghans coming. For God's sake, why has this border become a place passengers frequently stop by? But I promise this nation; we will send all our Syrian brothers to their own countries within two years at the latest."

- "We will rebuild both FİSKOBİRLİK and ÇAYKUR. We will make all the subcontracted workers in ÇAYKUR and the subcontracted workers in the Roadways permanent."

- "They say - they know they will leave - sir, if the Nation Alliance wins on 14 May, there will be a coup d'état. It's logic-defying. It's preposterous. You set the election date, you dissolved the Parliament, you made the citizens set up the ballot boxes, you determined who would vote, and when you decide that it's a coup! Democracy is not a coup; this is Democracy! Democracy will come out of the ballot box!"
