CHP Chairperson Özgür Özel hosted Ayşe Ateş, the wife of Sinan Ateş, the former President of the Ülkü Ocakları, who was assassinated, and her daughters at the party headquarters.

CHP Leader Özgür Özel shared photos taken with Ayşe Ateş and her daughters on his social media account. Özel wrote the following note on his post:

"We hosted Ayşe Ateş, the esteemed wife of Sinan Ateş, the former President of the Grey Wolves, who was murdered in the middle of Ankara and whose murder remains unsolved, and her daughters Bengisu and Banuçiçek at our headquarters. We will continue to stand by the family and their children until the smokescreen over this assassination is lifted."
