CONDOLENCE VISIT FROM LAGODINSKY, CO-PRESIDENT OF THE TURKEY-EUROPEAN UNION JOINT PARLIAMENTARY COMMITTEE, TO THE CHP PARLIAMENTARY GROUP

Sergey Lagodinsky, Co-Chair of the European Union - Turkey Joint Parliamentary Committee, and the accompanying delegation visited the CHP Parliamentary Group. They wished them a speedy recovery after the earthquakes centred in Kahramanmaraş. CHP Group Deputy Chair Özgür Özel and CHP Principal Advisor to the President Ünal Çeviköz thanked the delegation.

CHP Group Deputy Chairman Özgür Özel and CHP Chief Advisor to the Chairman and Istanbul MP Ünal Çeviköz hosted Sergey Lagodinsky, Co-Chair of the European Parliament Wing of the Turkey-European Union Joint Parliament, and the accompanying delegation, who visited Turkey due to the earthquakes centred in Kahramanmaraş on February 6, at the CHP Parliamentary Group Executive Meeting Hall.

Lagodinsky conveyed his condolences and get-well wishes to Turkey.

Thanking the European Parliament delegation for the visit, Özel said, "Our friends are currently either in the earthquake zone or dealing with earthquake victims who have been transferred to their constituencies. Therefore, I convey the greetings of all our friends we are working with and their pleasure that you are here."

Özel said, "Our Chairman was also very pleased with your request for an appointment. His schedule was available this afternoon, but we could not meet because of your flight to Gaziantep. He also sends his greetings and thanks."
