Presidential Candidate Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu: The door of the Nation Alliance is open to everyone

Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, Presidential Candidate of the Nation Alliance, said: "The door of the Nation Alliance is wide open to everyone who shares our common dream of Turkey. We wholeheartedly greet our 85 million people, regardless of belief, thought, ideology or identity. My dear friends, my beautiful people, let no one worry. We will establish the power of morality and justice together. May our path be clear."

CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu became the Presidential Candidate of the Nation Alliance after a 5-hour meeting held today at the headquarters of the Felicity Party. Felicity Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu announced that Republican People's Party Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu is the Presidential Candidate of the Nation Alliance.

CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu said the following in his speech here

"Thank you, thank you very much.

Dear brothers and sisters, I sincerely thank my honourable Chairpersons one by one in the presence of all of you.

Dear people, dear brothers and sisters, Yunus Emre, says, 'If we divide, we will be satiated. If we are divided, we will perish'. So, inspired by Yunus Emre's words, we set out to bring all the colours of Turkey together at the same table.

This table is the Halil İbrahim table. The Halil Ibrahim table means not eating when your neighbour is hungry. The Halil Ibrahim table implies that no child goes to bed hungry. The Halil Ibrahim table means the end of oppression and the rule of right, law and justice. Our table is the table of peace and brotherhood. Our biggest goal is to lead Turkey to prosperous, peaceful and joyful days. God willing, we will achieve this together.

As the Nation Alliance, we will govern Turkey through consultation and consensus. As the heads of the political parties that make up the Nation Alliance, we have also agreed on the roadmap for the transition to a strengthened parliamentary system.

Eleven items have just been finalized inside, and we will share them with the press members a little later.

In this context, in the transition to the Parliamentary System, Chairpersons of the other parties in the Nation Alliance will be the Vice President.

I want to emphasize that the door of the National Alliance is open to everyone who shares our common dream of Turkey. We wholeheartedly greet our 85 million people, regardless of belief, thought, ideology or identity. Today is the first month of the earthquake disaster. I wish God's mercy to the citizens we have lost on this blessed night of laylat al bara.
