THE PRESS RELEASE BY CHP ISTANBUL DEPUTY AND TGNA CHP GROUP SPOKESPERSON ÜNAL ÇEVİKÖZ ON THE TERRORIST ORGANIZATION PROPAGANDA IN THE EP PLENARY SESSION

We would like to express our deep concern about the disruption of parliamentary activities due to the demonstrations by individuals associated with the PKK terrorist organization during the European Parliament (EP) Plenary Session on 15 February 2023. As CHP, we strongly condemn the terrorist propaganda.

The EP authorities should investigate the negligence in this incident and take measures to prevent similar incidents from reoccurring.

We remind the EP Presidium's unanimous decision of November 21, 2017 "not to allow such acts of terrorist organizations" and we urge that the decision be implemented immediately. Otherwise, there will be a serious weakness in the struggle against international terrorism.
